The Mattes Half Pad- All Purpose is a must have for saddle stability and breathability! Mattes pads are designed to be form fitting to reduce pressure points and distribute the rider’s weight evenly. The Mattes Half Pad is made from genuine sheepskin so it molds perfectly to your horse's back and reduces friction. The extreme density of the wool combined with the upright position of the fibers allows air flow between the fibers for excellent circulation, which provides superior padding and ideal pressure distribution.
