The exterior leather and the leather midsole have been processed with DeNiro’s own Water Resistant Advanced Treatment (WRAT). This is an innovative technology using hydrophobic materials that are bonded to the leather during tanning to form a protective barrier. It makes the boot water-resistant, wind-resistant, breathable and crack-resistant. It allows the leather to maintain its softness and color, ensuring longevity.

An insole with activated carbon absorbs shock, provides a comfortable fit and supplies natural antibacterial action to resist odors. The natural leather midsole is highly sweat-absorbent to keep your feet clean and dry. The handcrafted leather sole with premium anti-slip Vibram® outsole lets the Salento offer grip in the stirrup even in the worst weather.
